Ø       Designed and developed web n-tier middleware applications for Internet sales of Bowflex and  Nautilus Sleep Systems. Extensive use of COM+ ,MS SQL and XML to integrate with other levels of company wide architecture. ASP.NET, C#, Visual Basic.

Ø       Developed web applications with multiple language support.

Ø       Created and implemented use of SQL views to improve application performance and maintenance since client prohibited use of stored procedures.

Ø       Designed front-end interfaces.

Ø       Designed seamless user integration between other application components.

Ø       Created Windows 2000 Service components using Visual Basic.

Ø       Created a Windows service to check for new email every 15 minutes and respond if appropriate.

Ø       Built ASP Internet sites for clients such as Intel and CommerceOne.  Redesigned client’s logic to provide more scalable and portable solutions.

Ø       Created recursive code components to dynamically generate and validate HTML forms.

Ø       Made extensive use of ADO hierarchical recordsets and data shaping to create web and Excel reports.

Ø       Converted all of client’s SQL statements to stored procedures.

Ø       Created web pages with generic logic to generate web-based forms and reports from client’s database; and at client’s request, perform all validation and error handling at the server level.

Ø       Provided instruction to clients on performance improvements in coding techniques, rewrote ASP code and stored procedures to improve speed and reduce bandwidth consumption.

Ø       Built ASP corporate intranet application that upgrades large legacy production system and database, and moves paper-based system to web application. 

Ø       Extensive use of DHTML and client-side scripting to provide rich user interface including drag and drop, cut and paste, and custom sorting on client tables.

Ø       Effectively used SQL 7.0 to create stored procedures in ASP applications.

Ø       Developed and coded client side security and error handling.

1995–2000              Silver Falls School District
